The experience
Having never really entered the grounds before, I always wondered what lay beyond the deep green foliage of the boundary fence of the Vivanta by Taj – HolidayVillage in Sinquerim.
With check in late on a Friday evening, the lobby was buzzing with weekend holiday makers. Mr Sunshil Tandon, the General Manager welcomed us warmly and explained what we had to look forward to over our weekend stay.
Escorted to our room down the pathways, we kept a check on any landmarks that would guide us, knowing that it could be easy to get lost in the sprawling property.
Delighted with the location of our garden room with a sea view, we settled in. With so many eateries on site we were spoilt for choice but out favourite had to be the lunch in the leafy environment of the Banyan Tree.
Overall, our favourite location was by the swimming pool. With the sun shining, luxurious sun beds, a heavenly pool and that killer view, this resort really has everything on offer for the perfect holiday.
Hi ,
i am planning to go in coming november 3rd week for my honeymoon..m confused between Taj Holiday village and fort aguada…also thought of leela but since we wanted to be closer to lot of action have chosen north goa…please advise which one is better.
i had seen their virtual tour from their website…two things have come up…one is that there is not much difference in the rates for fort aguada premium indulgence terrace cottage and holiday village premium indulgence sea view cottage … holiday village website shows while booking as newly renovated for premium indulgence sea view cottage not sure if they are recently renovated as lot of reviewers complained about they being outdated n up for renovation….second is that holiday village cottages seem to be more spacious with sea facing sit outs and seems more privacy and space outside….looks a bit grand (u can comment more since u hav been there)….plus also i read beach is easily accessible from holiday village..while not from taj fort aguada..is it true… n howz d beach outside holiday village and fort agauda………and is it worth to pay extra for sea view cottages vs garden facing cottages…and are premium indulgence sea facing cottages singular, i mean are they individual villa types or in a block of two cottages with common wall…and do they offer more privacy…
