Nirvana Nest Buildcon Pvt Ltd promises to create ‘memories of a lifetime’ with its recent foray into the hospitality scene. Nagoa Grande Resort located in Nagoa offers a range of services from chic interiors to the Rejuvenate Spa, from hosting facilities to Kebab Street, its specialised Indian restaurant to be opened soon…
Adding to the charm of the village of Nagoa, centrally located between Mapusa, Arpora and Baga, we welcome a new five star property, Nagoa Grande Resort. A unit of Nirvana Nest Buildcon Pvt Ltd, Gokal Kumar has completed this new venture and has now opened its doors to international and domestic markets with a promise to entertain local Goans.
Nirvana Nest, a name widely known for its resorts, hotels, commercial complexes and residential projects in India (Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, New Delhi and Goa) has carved a niche for itself in the real estate sector of the country.
In the business for the last three decades, the company’s work has become a benchmark in the industry with projects like Whispering Palms Beach Resort, La Oasis by The Verda in Anjuna and La Flamingo in Calangute.
Set on 4000 sq metres of greenery, four kilometres from Baga beach, the façade of the building led us to believe that this is a small quaint hotel, but walking out onto the sprawling lawns we were soon to realise how mistaken we were.
Built over three floors, the Grande consists of 62 Superior Rooms with three Executive Suites. Spacious and with all amenities, they offer a chic modern feel, all with a poolside view. The balcony is a relaxing addition to the size of the rooms. After settling into our new surroundings, we ventured around the resort and there was a lot on offer.
“We are committed to providing exceptional customer service by offering an innovative range of stay, dining, events and hosting facilities to our guests. We offer cost-competitive hospitality services and quality standards to exceed the expectations of our customers,” says Kumar, Managing Director.
Baywatch is the hub of the hotel with comfortable and well designed furnishings surrounded by contemporary art and wall hangings. Designed as a buffet restaurant there are also a well stocked a la carte menu offering Goan, Continental and Oriental delicacies.
Next to that is the Library Café, a comfortable space to rewind and relax. For evening dining the Deck Bar and Pool Bar is the place to enjoy cocktails with authentic Thai food and sizzlers.
Finally, soon to be re-launched due to popular demand, Nagoa Grande is reopening its specialised Indian Restaurant – Kebab Street, located originally in Campal, Panjim. With chefs coming from the northern territories, the restaurant will offer cuisine from Afghanistan, Peshawar, Lahore and the Walled City of Delhi. On offer will be biryanis cooked in earthern pots with tandoor kebabs over charcoal. To add to all these culinary delights, live music from all corners of the globe will liven up our senses.
Heading operations at the hotel, Sahana Kumar is adding the finishing touches to the Rejuvenate Spa, a complete wellness destination.
Not only for in-house guests, the spa welcomes non-residents for affordable pampering. On the menu you will find stress relieving and relaxing therapies, skin care and facial treatments and, with a fully-equipped unisex salon, hair styling and cutting, pedicures/manicures and all beauty touch-ups.
To help in rejuvenating the entire body, a great range of branded products are incorporated into every treatment.
We found the gardens the focal point of our stay. With beautiful plants accentuating the lush landscape, it brought bliss and harmony to our experience. The cascading waterfalls separating the main pool from the baby one allowed tranquility to dominate our personal space. There are some places that simply must be experienced with promises of creating memories of a lifetime – Nagoa Grande is soon to be that one such place.
